Illuminate your nighttime reverse maneuvers with unparalleled brightness using our Stage Series HitchMount Reverse Light Kit! This exceptional kit enables you to effortlessly mount one SSC1 or C1R LED pod within your 2-inch trailer hitch receiver, instantly adding a high-power reverse light, an extra running light, and the optional functionality of a 4th brake light with the C1R option. With the included wiring harness, connecting to your vehicle's factory trailer hitch wiring becomes a breeze, ensuring seamless and hassle-free operation.

For added visibility, the C1R option offers an optional brake light strobing feature, which can be activated in 15-second intervals. By default, the C1R will flash three times upon brake light application, enhancing visibility even further. Should you prefer, the SafetyStrobe feature can be easily disabled.

This kit is designed to seamlessly integrate with all 7-pin trailer connectors, making it a completely plug-and-play solution. The provided harness directly connects to your factory trailer hitch wiring, ensuring a swift and uncomplicated installation process. The kit operates as an additional red running light in conjunction with your tail lights, automatically transitioning to a high-power backup light when your vehicle is put in reverse. With the C1R option, the high-power 4th brake light feature activates each time you apply the brakes. To gain manual control over the reverse light, even when not in reverse gear, the universal backup harness can be purchased separately.

In the event that your trailer connector does not feature a 7-pin configuration, this kit can still be utilized with minor modifications to the harness.

Thanks to our patent-pending snap-fit design, mounting the HitchMount is a breeze, requiring no drilling or hitch pin. Merely insert the HitchMount into your trailer hitch receiver, and the snap-fit side mounts will securely lock it in place. Installation is effortless, taking less than five minutes to complete!

Fitment

Newer trucks with trailer management systems monitor the power draw on the trailer connector in order to automatically modify vehicle settings when a trailer is connected. Depending on the year and make of your vehicle, the HitchMount LED may interact with this system if equipped.
