The STX 46 uses a 46mm main piston (vs the 36mm used in the Touring twin-shock line) for greater oil flow and damping authority on the heavier single-shock chassis. The hydraulic preload adjuster allows preload changes by hand — no tools needed — to accommodate rider weight changes, two-up riding, or cargo loading.

Installation Notes
