This is a complete fork replacement, not a cartridge kit — the original front-end hardware is replaced with the Öhlins American V-Twin 48 Blackline assembly. Verify your bike's year and front-end configuration against the Öhlins fitment guide before ordering — the 2024 CVO Touring lineup received a further front-end revision and uses different parts than the earlier M8 Touring fork architecture.

Öhlins American V-Twin 48mm Blackline front fork assembly for Harley-Davidson Touring, 2023-2025. Öhlins's first complete front fork for Harley-Davidson — a full bolt-on fork replacement (not a cartridge kit) developed with technology from Öhlins's Bagger Racing program.

Sold as a complete pair (left and right fork legs / complete fork assembly).

The American V-Twin 48 Blackline replaces the entire OEM front fork. It uses Öhlins's 30mm NIX damping system internally, with compression damping isolated in one leg and rebound in the other for more precise damping control than the OEM fork. The 48mm fork tubes are titanium-nitrate-coated for reduced friction and a plusher ride, and the fork bottoms are weight- and stress-optimized for the M8 Touring chassis.

Installation Notes

  • This is a complete fork replacement, not a cartridge kit. Installation requires removing the OEM front end (front wheel, front fender, brake calipers, lower triple clamp components) and installing the Öhlins assembly.
  • Installation by a qualified suspension or Harley shop is strongly recommended. Initial sag setting and front-end alignment should be verified after installation.
  • Verify your bike's year and model against the Öhlins fitment guide before ordering. This fork is specific to the 2023-2025 M8 Touring chassis and is not interchangeable with earlier Touring platforms or other Harley families.
