Öhlins STX 36 Blackline Emulsion rear shocks for Harley-Davidson Touring, 1990-2021. The entry-tier option in the Öhlins Blackline series — a meaningful upgrade over stock dampers at the most accessible price point in the lineup.
Sold as a complete pair (left and right rear shocks).
The Blackline series is Öhlins' Harley-specific finish on the STX 36 platform — all-black anodized hardware with gold detailing. The emulsion configuration uses a single-tube emulsion damper (gas and oil share the main body, no separate reservoir) and is preload-adjustable only. Spring rate is preset at the factory for the application.

Installation Notes
- Direct bolt-on replacement for the OEM rear shocks. No frame modifications or additional components required.
- Initial sag setting is recommended after install.
- This is the entry configuration in the Öhlins STX 36 series. Riders carrying heavier loads or two-up frequently should consider the dividing-piston or fully-adjustable variants for additional damping control.
