This set covers it exactly the way the factory did, with the Dunlop D402 up front and the D401 out back. That mixed pairing isn't a substitution; H-D specs the D402 as the front and the D401 as the rear on these bikes, and both carry Harley-Davidson branding on the sidewall.

Check your sizes before ordering. Standard Sportsters (XL883, XL1200) run a 100/90-19 front, not the 21-inch wheel; we build a D401 set for those separately. Both load ratings in this set match the factory spec for the Custom models listed, 54H front and 73H rear.
