Important  Per the Progressive 494 chart, 1991-2021 Sportster, bearing mount. Chart also lists 1982-1993 FXR models, which are outside the vehicle registry.

The 494 Sport Series is a high-pressure monotube shock with deflective disc damping, hand-threaded preload, and external rebound adjustment. A progressive-rate spring keeps performance consistent across real-world conditions, and an engineered jounce bumper with a built-in metal cup smooths and controls bottoming.
