Fox develops its V-Twin line with the same engineering that runs its off-road race program, and the difference on a hustled Dyna is night and day: a front end that holds its composure under hard braking and a rear that keeps the tire planted instead of skipping.

What is in the kit

• Fox GRIP Street Performance fork cartridge kit (set of 2) for the 49mm fork, replacing the factory damper rod internals with true cartridge damping.
• Fox rear shocks (pair) in your choice of series and length, with adjustable preload.

Pick your rear shock series

IFP-QSR: internal floating piston damping with the QSR quick-adjust preload ring, no tools needed to dial in for a passenger or gear. The performance pick at the working price.

QS3-QSR Remote Reservoir: the flagship. Piggyback reservoir adds oil volume for damping that stays consistent when you ride hard, plus the QS3 three-position compression adjuster to switch character from plush to firm in seconds, along with the QSR preload ring.

Pick your rear shock length

12.5 in keeps a stock-style stance on most Dynas. 13.5 in raises the rear roughly an inch for more travel and more cornering clearance, the choice for riders who drag hard parts.

Rebuildable, not disposable

Every damper in this kit is fully serviceable and rebuildable. Set it up once and maintain it; it will outlast the bike.

Why front and rear together

Upgrade one end and the stock end becomes the thing you feel on every ride. Mismatched lengths and rates change steering geometry enough to make a good-handling Dyna nervous. This kit pairs the GRIP cartridges with Fox rears so both ends work together from the first mile.

Fitment

Fits 2006-2017 Harley-Davidson Dyna models with the 49mm fork, including Street Bob (FXDB), Fat Bob (FXDF), Low Rider (FXDL), Super Glide and Super Glide Custom (FXD, FXDC), per the fitment list. Not for Wide Glide (FXDWG) or Low Rider S (FXDLS), whose front ends differ; the rear shocks fit those models and are available separately. Not for 2005 and earlier 39mm-fork Dynas.

Ordering and install notes

Fox components can be built to order, so allow additional lead time on some combinations. Rear shocks are a bolt-on install; the fork cartridge install requires fork disassembly and is worth shop time if you have not been inside a set of forks. Set sag front and rear after install. Kit ships as two factory boxes.
