This kit is the full Fox fix, front and rear: GRIP cartridges for the 41mm fork and QS3-QSR remote reservoir shocks out back, matched as one package for the best-selling American cruiser platform after Harley.
What is in the kit
- Fox GRIP Street Performance fork cartridge kit (pair) for the Scout's 41mm fork, replacing the basic factory damping with true cartridge internals.
- Fox QS3-QSR remote reservoir rear shocks (pair) with the QS3 three-position compression adjuster and QSR quick-adjust preload ring, in your choice of configuration.
Pick your rear shock configuration
Standard Height, Standard Spring: the direct stock-height replacement for most riders, transforming ride quality without changing stance. Standard Height, Light Spring: the same shock sprung for lighter solo riders, roughly 180 lb and under, who find standard springs harsh. 1 in Raised, Standard Spring: the performance pick, adding roughly an inch of travel and cornering clearance to the platform that needs it most.
Rebuildable, not disposable
Every damper in this kit is fully serviceable and rebuildable, with spring and valving support from Fox. Buy once.

The Scout's fork is soft and its shocks are short; fix only one and the other defines the ride. Matched front and rear is what actually makes a Scout feel like the sporty cruiser its chassis wants to be.

Ordering and install notes
Fox components can be built to order, so allow additional lead time on some combinations. Rear shocks are a bolt-on install; the fork cartridge install requires fork disassembly. Set sag front and rear after install. Kit ships as two factory boxes.
